Today’s community platforms are either large chat spaces or event-management tools. Chat platforms often become broadcast channels where members feel lonely in a crowd, while events gather large groups and hope meaningful connections form.
Neither prioritizes the member experience.
Opine is a community-building platform that puts members first. Through community analytics, dynamic feedback collection, and subgroup formation, we help communities foster stronger connections to build lasting relationships.

Brejesh Bhaskaran
I’m easily intrigued by a lot of things — food, golf, learning — and I tend to dive deep once something catches my attention. I've been fortunate to find communities around these interests, and helping others find theirs has become a passion of mine.

I enjoy meeting people and hearing their stories, whether it's making friends or talking to strangers. I've always valued human connection and the diverse experiences that shape us, which is what drew me to community building and helping communities thrive.

Mare
The internet is experiencing ensloppfication. With the proliferation of AI tools, consumers and brands have free reign to create any piece of content, regardless of skill, and importantly, taste. This leaves us with an internet full of junk images and videos most people scroll away on. Current solutions exist within image generation, focusing on adjusting prompts or implementing superficial scores to improve outputs.
Mare is the first platform to instrumentalise taste, using our algorithm to detect and correct outputs, saving brands time and money, and keeping the internet slop free.
Founding Team
Aakarsh Singh
Design engineer and new media artist. Art, design, and technology braid through my work in the form of web projects, XR/VR experiences, interactive installations, and films. I've developed this practice across studios, startups, and research labs and shown these works internationally.
Felipe Waldeck
An artist-researcher and ex-government consultant. I've worked in fish farms, food labs, internet research, and in HDBs and playgrounds, driven by what I care about most: how people connect, and how those connections remake culture. At Mare, I'm building a more fulfilling internet.
